Hi,
I need to find a "good" home for my well-loved cat and as a result we are offering $150 if you are able to look after him. We are moving and cannot accomodate him as my husband is allergic and the new home does not have a large sunroom as our existing home does. He is about 12 years old and very gentle but not good with children. His name is Sam and he has all his shots and is very healthy. He likes to go outside for short romps but is mostly a house cat. If anyone can take in this cat it would be much appreciated by me. You all seem to be cat lovers and I don't want to take a chance on advertising this somewhere he might be abused!
Since I'm new to this site I don't know how you should get hold of me as I just got a message not to enter an e-mail address. Maybe some of you can help.
Thanks!

I would be interested. If you get this, leave a reply message. I have other animals but no children. Not sure how you would contact me otherwise but you could go to the Caroline's Kids website - I am a volunteer for Caroline's Kids and there is a contact number on their website. Judie Brown always has the ability to reach me.

Hello-My name is Katie-I am blessed to be "owned" by 2 very special fur angels-one of who earlier erased my post here so I went and rested then came back, knowing that if Sam is meant to have a home with my friend,Rosanne, I could take the rest I need for my own health and then re-do my reply-

First, let me share about my 2 dear fur angels-Mischka Jazzz whoo is 6 and is the most social cat that I ever met,a hysterical clown and loves to be held-- 24/7 is even enough for her!
My next precious one is dear Allie(aka Tumbleweed).I was blessed for her to adopt me through a no-kill shelter where I volunteered at the time in helping to socialize cats and kitens that had arrived there through sad stories of their own abuse.Allie was extremely tiny for the 9-10 weeks of age that they figured her to be yet when I looked in her box she would do acrobatics for me that made me just laugh and laugh--so all of you probably already knw,she came home with me that crisp, fall day wrapped in a latge flannel robe inside a large tote bag to keep her warm and comforted.Mischka took to her right a way-- after each gave such a small hiss and looked at me like- ok,lady,we just did our cat thing are you happy-we'll be the best of friends and they are just that!

Shortly after Allie's arrival it only took a few hours for me to notice that she had sevre brain damage yet yhat wasn't going to deter, only add to the joy and peace in my home.My dear friend needs a cat like Fred as she recently got brain damage and her cat is dieing and she needs someone else to love also!!She takes extra good care of herpets and I can take a note to her house tomorrow-contact me throu either Trai who can pass on my phone # or the e-mail and# I send the leader of this group--God bless--Katie

Do we know if the kitty has found a new home? I wish we could have an update from the person who posted or from someone else who knows.

Sorry I haven't been keeping you updated. I have had the flu and been really sick so sitting at the computer is a real chore. When I am back to being healthy, I will follow up with interviews to make sure Sam will be well taken care of. Thanks so much to those who responded. I want Sam to be comfortable in his new home!

Thank You!

Hi Melessa,
I do have an e-mail address but I've been warned about posting it here. Is there a web site I could go to?
Thanks,
